Mental Health is a growing concern in all areas of our lives with an increasing interest in the mental health of our employees and colleagues. However, there continues to be a stigma around mental health issues and specifically mental health disabilities in the workplace. What is the definition of mental health? What is a mental health disability? How can we create an inclusive workplace; a workplace open to conversations about mental health and open to our employees and colleagues who live with mental health disabilities?
Join us for an important discussion on creating a mental health friendly workplace. Debra DeSantis Lauzier, a mental health expert and certified Mental Health First Aid trainer, will talk about mental health awareness, the principles of Mental Health First Aid and the steps we can take to create an inclusive workplace.
